Annual College Trip

Each summer students take week long college tour planned by a committee of students. This gives many students the opportunity to see college available to them outside of our area. In 2017 PCYM traveled through the north eastern region of the USA and visited several colleges. This year we will be visiting several colleges in the south eastern region of the USA. Space is limited so sign up today!

Mentorship Program

PCYM offers high school students a chance to tutor students in the homework club and get paid for the hours worked. Students must first complete a tutoring certification class to build the necessary skills to begin tutoring other students.

Youth Council

The Youth Council represents a practical way of enabling youth to have a meaningful role in helping solve community problems. Students will lean the processes of different forms of city meetings as well as address major concerns facing them today. This is offered by PCYM to both middle and high school students. Students will be paid per meeting attended. Some transportation is available. Space is limited so sign up today!

Recycling program

This program is offered to middle and high school students. Students will post signs prior to recycling days to remind the community of those dates. They will also hold community meetings answering any questions or concerns of residents. This is also a paid opportunity.
